Community and support

Support tiers, contribution ownership, releases, and the GitHub-backed Motionwind recipe registry.

Support tiers

  • Stable: React, Next.js, Vite, Vue, and vanilla JavaScript.
  • Beta: React Native while behavior and documentation move toward parity.
  • Community: additional adapters maintained outside the core-team support guarantee.

The repository includes installable starters for Next.js, React/Vite, Vue/Vite, Nuxt, vanilla HTML, and Expo. CI tests the supported Node matrix, every package artifact, and the shared recipe registry.

Recipe registry

Recipes are reviewed JSON manifests in registry/recipes. Each entry declares accessibility guidance, adapters, compatibility, bundle impact, source, version, and maintainer. Submit a manifest pull request and run bun run registry:check; no registry account or custom backend is required.

Maintainer path

Ownership grows through contributor → triager → package maintainer → core maintainer. See the repository's governance, support, security, Code of Conduct, and contributing policies before opening an issue or pull request.

Roadmap reviews happen monthly, with a compatibility and release report each quarter.
